Located only 5 minutes walk from O'Connell Street and some of Dublin's main shopping districts; Browns Hostel is the ideal base for the independent traveler to explore Dublin City. The major tourist sights such as Trinity College and the Customs House are on the hostel's doorstep and if it's nightlife you crave, the bustling Temple Bar district is just a 15 minute stroll away.

Browns is located 14 km from Dun Laoghaire Ferry Port and 10 km from Dublin International Airport. Shuttles operate frequently and taxis are freely available. The number 41 bus that runs directly from the airport stops almost directly outside our door. In addition, the hostel is within 5 minutes walk of Dublin's main bus station and Connolly train station.

Directions

Centrally located for almost everything, Browns Hostel is a superb location.

From the Airport:
Take the number 747 bus or the Aircoach to O'Connell St.
from there when your reach the spire, go down Talbot St.
Take a left at the traffic lights 200 metres from the spire, and we?re across the road on the right about 100 meters from the traffic lights.

Taking the bus?
We are a five minute walk from Busaras, just walk up Frencman's lane (beside Store St. Garda Station), take a right and walk north up Gardiner St about 150metres and Browns is on the right-hand side.

Taking the train?
From Heuston Station - take the Luas tram to Busaras and follow the directions above.
From Connolly Station - Go out the side door of Connolly Station and cross Amien St. onto Talbot St. Walk up to the traffic lights and take a right onto Gardiner St. and were about 100 meters on the right.
