Description
Dublin International Youth Hostel is situated in a prime city centre location within walking distance of Temple Bar, O'Connell Street, bus and train stations and all the attractions of the city centre and it?s also the hostel that is closest to Dublin Airport.
Dublin International Youth Hostel's building has in its time been a convent and a school and still bears the marks of these times. Perhaps the most obvious example is the old nun?s chapel which has been converted into a restaurant. Or the confessional box from which you can phone home, just be careful not to let too many secrets out!
Dublin International Hostel is open all year long and offers single rooms, double/twin rooms, triple, four bedded (some en-suite) and 6-10 bedded dorms.

Dublin International Hostel is family friendly but if you are a family with children 16 years and under you will have to book a private room, as children 16 and under can not stay in dorms under the Child Protection Act. Contact the hostel directly for more information!

Directions
Road:
Bus Eireann ? (Countrywide services to Dublin.)
Get off at O'Connell St Bridge and walk the length of O'Connell St and keep walking straight onto Nrth Fredrocks St and then onto Blessington St. Dublin International Hostel is at the top of Blessington St to your left.
Ferry:
Get bus to the city centre. Take buses 10, 16A or 19 leaving you near the hostel or walk the length of O?Connell St, continue up Parnell Square, Nth.Frederick St., Blessington St. and turn left into Mountjoy St.
From Dublin Airport: Catch bus 16A or 41. (EUR1.90, but they don't give change so make sure you have the right money.) Alight at the last stop on Upper Dorset Street just opposite the Mr Macs Red and White Barber shop, or just before the Myers Pub 'Guiness Time, Clock'. Cross over to Mr Mac's, Barber Shop and walk up the left of this shop (Blessington Street). Walk up Blessington Street and take the first left into Mountjoy Street. (Just beside Deli Suz!) We are about 50 metres on the right hand side. (Number 61 or the old Red Church.) Price for 16 A/41 ?1.90 one way and price for 747 ?6.00-bus serves rail stations as well.
